Management Team

Jeet joined the business in 2002 after moving back from the United States. He looks after overall strategy, management and day to day operations of the business. Jeet has helped Insta Foods chart new territories in identifying the Ingredients business and Private Label business as a key driver to business growth and has overseen the amalgamation of the flavors business with the finished products business. With a deep knowledge and keen interest in the packaging and marketing side of the business, Jeet is spearheading Insta Foods’ entry into the consumer products segment under our own brand names.

 

Jeet did his B. Tech in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from IIT New Delhi and MS in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Operations Research from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey on a Graduate School Excellence Fellowship. He worked with i2 Technologies (Pioneer and Global Leader in Supply Chain Management) in Dallas USA in Product Management and Consulting roles before moving back to India join the family business.

 

Jeet is an active member of various professional forums like Institute of Food Technologists (IFT Chicago),  Fragrance and Flavor Association of India (FAFAI), Agricultural and Processed Foods Development Authority (APEDA), and is a charter member of TIE Baroda. He strongly believes in giving back to the community and is associated with multiple organizations like Rotary International (President of Rotary Club of Baroda Cosmopolitan, 2010), PAN IIT Gujarat Alumni Association, Baroda Management Association etc.

Meera spearheads the digital and online marketing activities of the company. She holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (MBA Finance) from Delhi.

Her experience of working with management firms in different capacities has helped the business in understanding the use of various digital channels in identifying, developing and building relevant consumers.

Meera gathered strong experience in documentation, content writing, data analytics and presentation skills during her tenure as a Finance Executive with HRCC ( A Navratna Firm under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare) and as an Associate with Management consulting firms Ace Global Consulting and Deloitte. This is helping Insta Foods keeping up to date with the ever changing digital Industry.

She has a passion for writing and has contributed to various magazines through her articles on entrepreneurship and general management.

She took a sabbatical from her active professional career for a few years before coming on board the family business in 2020 to focus on her two children and took advantage of that time to become a devoted home maker and pursued her passion for baking and fitness.

Late Praful C Vin founded a flavor company by the name of Vin Flavors in 1978 and brought 50 years of experience in the food industry. He was the mentor who provided overall strategic direction to the company. His vision, values and ethics continue to guide the company today even in his absence.

 

Prior to founding Vin Flavors, he worked as Manager Quality Assurance and Product Development at the Coca Cola Export Corporation for their entire India region for more than 10 years.

 

Besides working for Coca Cola, he worked in Research & Development at Frito Lay Inc. in Dallas USA (a division of Pepsi Foods and a world leader in the area of Snack Foods), Ralston Purina, USA (a world leader in Cattle Feeds) and developed Cereal Baby Food for Amul dairy, Anand.

 

He authored a book – “Farm to Fork – All About Food” published by Bloomsbury publishing. The book is a distilled essence of his half a century of experience in the food industry.

 

He held triple Masters degrees in Biochemistry (MS University, Baroda), Biochemical Engineering and Food Technology (Jadavpur University, Kolkata) and Food Science and Engineering (Utah State University, USA).
